Originally from Dallas, Texas, Mark Rubio is what some would call… an overachiever. A graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas, this Emerging Media and Communications major graduated Cum Laude and interned with American Options Insurance Agency as a multimedia specialist. More recently, he worked at the UT Southwestern Medical Center as a marketing coordinator prior to joining LWP as an Account Manager
Rubio’s past experience in both creative and marketing has proven to be a tremendous asset to the LWP team. Because like CEO & Founder, Mark Alvarez, he puts the “Mark” in Marketing. Rubio’s creative finesse and tactical prowess makes him the ideal agile T-Shaped marketer when it comes to rapidly shifting strategies that are common within this fast-growing digital marketing industry.
Despite his serious approach to marketing and media, Rubio is a carefree individual who loves sports and being outdoors. He loves basketball (Go Mavs!) and spending time with his goofy dog, Riddick. In his free time he likes to work out, hike, watch tons of old-school WWE, play video games (Uncharted) , listen to music (Alternative, Reggaeton, Rap, & Rock), and work on his graphic design and cinematography skills.
A Quentin Tarantino fan, Rubio’s favorite movies are Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill Vol. 1.
